Description: An eagle is standing in between two people and the three of them represent the elements of of water, wind and earth. The wings of the eagle are also the eyes of the sun - who represents fire - in the sky which represents ether/space. Themes: Sacredness; Unity; Humility; Compassion; Freedom 12x12”

Description: An eagle watching the sun rise while flying over Mobile Bay towards Fairhope, Alabama . Kari painted this piece between 2020 and 2021. Sometime thereafter she was floating on her back in the water in the exact place depicted and a bald eagle flew over her. Eagles used to be very prevalent years ago but now are rarely seen. 12x12"

II. A Selection of Past Work

Description: This piece was produced in 2021 for a fourth generation family from Fairhope, Alabama. The themes include preservation, sacredness, love and rebirth. Although Kari did not title the painting it is a depiction of a small beach front in Fairhope, Alabama and it expresses her love of Mobile Bay and her desire to see it respected, nurtured and restored to the rich biodiversity of its past. Approximately 36 x 48"

Description: This piece was produced for a former U.S. Senate colleague from Alabama. Kari painted this piece in 2019 in a ceremonial space in the basement of an ashram in Maryland. She decided to create a painting based on Constitution Gardens located in Washington, D.C. which Kari began to frequently visit in the evenings and on weekends between 2015 and 2017. It is a place that she is drawn to spiritually and it reminds her of her childhood hometown in Alabama. She titled it "The Peacekeeper." Approximately 36 x 60"
